EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT..

Have you ever been rewarded for the masterbrain behind a succesful workdone or you feel restricted due to lack of belief?      A primary goal of an employee empowerment is to give workers a greater voice in decisions about work-related matters.Employees act only as empowered as their employers make them feel. When employees don’t feel empowered at work, they’re unlikely to take initiative or be top performers. A workforce full of “yes" men and women won't push your organization to success.       Below down are some tips  helping that feeling of empowerment soar. * Start with a clear strategic vision :The first step in empowering employees is to give them something to get excited about and to actively work toward. That something is the company’s vision statement. Put the vision statement at the center of everything the company does to inspire and empower employees to work toward a common goal. *Make sure everyon...

LOVE EMPOWERS...

I believe at the core of all empowerment is not only the desire for change, but the presence of love. Like the Beatles once said, “All you need is love; love is all you need.”        When love for the self is present, there is a desire to nurture the soul in a way that makes us stronger, both as women and as human beings. Before we can empower and love the world, we must first love ourselves. Then we can reach out into the world and embrace the collective. As  Meister Echkart said, “If you love yourself, you love everybody else as you do yourself…         In general, seekers are empowered because they are often trying to become better people or improve their lives and the lives of those around them. Being empowered is a potent feeling. There is a sense that life is in balance and all is going well. In order to facilitate the change that ultimately identifi...

IS THE FUTURE BRIGHT FOR THE YOUTH?

Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes.                 Youth empowerment aims to improve quality of life. Youth empowerment is achieved through participation in youth empowerment programs. However scholars argue that children’s rights implementation should go beyond learning about formal rights and procedures to give birth to a concrete experience of rights. There are numerous models that youth empowerment programs use that help youth achieve empowerment. A variety of youth empowerment initiatives are underway around the world. These programs can be through non-profit organizations, government organizations, school...

SO ARE GIRLS AND WOMEN EMPOWERED IN ISLAM?

Empowerment is a process. Through this process, an individual becomes an agent of change. More simply put, it's the "can do" factor, going from "I can't" to "I can." In this regard, Islam's approach is proactive, which means it guides its followers with more than 700 commandments of positive things to do in the Holy Qur'an, in a systematic approach, to address change in the entire society, not just in the individual. So, are girls and women empowered in Islam?         Oppressed, inferior and unequal - for many people these are the first words that come to mind when thinking about women in Islam. These stereotypes confuse the teachings of Islam with cultural practices. Few people realise that Islam has empowered women with the most progressive rights, and has done so since the 7th century. For a minute, I'd like you to consider the time before Islam.         At this time...

Women empowerment

The growing access of the web in the late 20th century has allowed women to empower themselves by using various tools on the Internet. Women have begun to use social networking sites like Facebook  and Twitter for online activism. Through online activism, women are able to empower themselves by organizing campaigns and voicing their opinions for equality rights without feeling oppressed by members of society. For example, on May 29, 2013, an online campaign started by 100 female advocates forced the leading social networking website, Facebook, to take down various pages that spread hatred about women.     Also, access to the web has allowed them to share their bad experiences and how they managed to overcome them.By reading others' experiences, victims can better educate themselves and apply strategies that their fellow suggest.      With the easy accessibility and affordability of e-learning (electronic learning), women c...

Women empowerment...

Until the early years of the twentieth century, women  were not allowed to vote. This partially happened because of a prejudice towards women.    “A wise woman wishes to be no one’s enemy; a wise woman refuses to be anyone’s victim.”        Equality means business. Empowering women to participate fully in economic life across all sectors is essential to build stronger economies, achieve internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability, and improve the quality of life for women, men, families and communities.      Tell the women next to you that you care.
